Company branding causes script error in Symprex applications

Problem

If you are currently using any company branding within Microsoft Azure this may cause a Script Error to appear when attempting to authenticate:

Solution

First ensure you are on the latest version of the software downloaded from www.symprex.com/download.

Apply the following registry key to force the Symprex applications to use the system browser.

Using Group Policy to assign the following registry key to the device(s) running Symprex.

Registry Key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symprex\Email Signature Manager\MSAL Overrides
String: Use System Browser
Value: True


Note: the above location Symprex and sub keys may not exist and may need to be created.
