Exchange Server still uses old version after upgrading Email Signature Manager Transport Agent


Problem

After upgrading the Email Signature Manager Transport Agent to a newer version, Exchange Server is still using the old version. The Windows Control Panel shows the correct new version of the Transport Agent is installed.

Reason

The Email Signature Manager Transport Agent installer failed to restart the Exchange Transport Service.

Solution

To solve the problem, restart the Exchange Transport Service.
