How to install the Outlook (Classic) agent

The Signature 365 Agent for Outlook supports adding signatures to email so signatures appear directly below the email being composed, and for users to select an alternative signature if additional signatures have been assigned to them.

The Signature 365 Agent is available to use with Outlook 2016 / 2019 / 2021, and can be deployed using MSI or ClickOnce.

Important!

The Signature 365 Classic Agent is not compatible with "New" Outlook 365. The modern add-in is required for this version of Outlook.

ClickOnce installer

Warning

ClickOnce addins must be installed using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge Chromium. This is due to limitations by Microsoft.

This version automatically updates when new versions are available.

Limitations of the agent

The Signature 365 Agent for Outlook does not support different signatures, campaigns or disclaimers based on internal or external email. The Signature 365 Agent for Outlook will select signatures, campaigns or disclaimers only based on new and reply/forward email.
